The following policy serves as a standard for all Northern Energy Federal Credit Union employees for collection, use, retention, and security of your nonpublic personal information.

- Information we receive on merchant applications and other forms
- Information about your transactions with us or others
- Information we receive from consumer reporting agencies
“Nonpublic personal information” is nonpublic information about you that we obtain in connection with providing a financial product or service to you. This could include information such as account balances, payment history, and overdraft history.
What Information We Disclose
Our staff has access to the information provided by you, but we will not share any information provided by any member with a third party, unless the party in question is a vendor that provides a service needed to process your request. An example is the credit reporting bureau with which we contract to review your credit file. We will not disclose your name or address to outside companies that want to sell you something.
Our Security Procedures
We store member information files in a secure environment. It is our policy to treat any information collected about you as strictly confidential. We do not disclose any nonpublic personal information about you to anyone, except as permitted by law. If you decide to terminate your membership or become an inactive member, we will adhere to the privacy policies and practices as described in this notice.
